Cheshire Youth Commission – Party November 8, 2021

Video on alcohol and consent In 2021, Commissioner John Dwyer spoke with the Youth Commission about sexual assault and what ideas they had to educate other young people about this issue. The group worked hard to develop a series of animations aimed at educating and informing young people about sexual assault and how to recognise inappropriate behaviour. The three animations: ‘The Underpass’, ‘Bedroom’, and ‘Party’, were designed by young people, for young people.

Sounds of Silence May 26, 2016Sounds of Silence

Sounds of Silence Castleford’s Airedale Academy performing arts students have created a dance/drama DVD to raise awareness of the relationship between alcohol and domestic abuse. As part of the local Community Alcohol Partnership, the students used their skills and in some cases first-hand knowledge to create, produce and perform an emotional piece. The performance is a mix of drama and dance interspersed with statistics and information on help and support services.
