Drinking and driving don't mix

Target age group: 14-16 year-olds

Structure: 1 written lesson

Preparation: Download worksheet 9 (at least 1 between 2).

Objectives

  • To understand the effects of alcohol and the body in relation to legal restrictions on drinking and driving.
  • To draw distance and speed graphs.
  • To show the factors affecting stopping distances.

Notes
The calculations and graph could be finished at home.
