What if...?

Your neighbour informs you that he saw your 14 year-old son buy some alcohol. He was reluctant to tell you as he's fond of your son and doesn't want him to get into trouble.
What do you say?
Your 15 year-old daughter comes home from a party and tells you that some of her friends had too much to drink. Glasses got broken and people were acting really loudly and aggressively. One girl threw up and then passed out. They put her in the bedroom and left her to sleep it off.
What do you say?
Your son came home from his friend's party drunk and slurring his words. When you confronted him, he got aggressive and stumbled up the stairs in a foul mood. You weren't sure of the best way to deal with the situation. The next day he told you to forget about it, said it wouldn't happen again and that he only did it because his mates made him look stupid for not wanting to drink a lot. His friend is having a 16th birthday party soon, and it's likely there will be alcohol there. Your instinct is to forbid your son from going.
